Art Auction in Riverside

Internationally acclaimed artist Charles Bibbs will host his First Annual Holiday Charity Art Auction at the Riverside Arts Museum in Downtown Riverside on Saturday, December 17th from 4:30-10pm.

The live auction will be conducted by acclaimed poet and author Conney Williams featuring the works of local and reowned artists Charles Bibbs, Poncho Brown, Synthia Saint James, and many more. A concert featuring platinum R&B recording artist Oscar Snow will occur at the conclusion of the auction.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Healthy Heritage Wellness Center, The Riverside Arts Museum, Art 2000 Visual Arts Association, and Riverside African American Historical Society. For more information, please call (951) 682-8185.

Boeing Aircraft Returns to San Bernardino International Airport

Boeing Aircraft has returned to San Bernardino International Airport to once again utilize the facilities of the airport in the development of their aircraft.

A spokesperson for Boeing said, "Boeing will be conducting flight tests on a 787-8 aircraft equipped with GE engines."

Mayor Pat Morris, the Mayor of San Bernardino and the President of the San Bernardino International Airport Authority, expressed his delight that Boeing had chosen to return to the airport for their flight tests.

He said, "The return of Boeing to the San Bernardino International Airport will result in expanded economic activity and result in the addition of Boeing workers and investment to our city. It further demonstrates the value of the airport to the San Bernardino economy."
