Now is the Time for all Good Citizens to Come to the Aid of their Country, State, City and Vote

When I took my first typing class in high school we had to type over and over again the line: now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country.

On the national level we have money coming in from outside sources with inside help. On the state level we have campaign outside influences pumping money to support propositions as well as candidates. At the local level we have people and organizations that do not reside in locations funding measures that the people say they want. This is the American way of life when it comes to our political system which is good with the exception of other countries or businesses tipping the scale against Americans.

On the local level in San Bernardino we have the Police Association funding political campaigns and currently sending out mailers against Measure C that local citizens and a majority of the city council-members requested it go before the citizens.

You might ask the question why that is so wrong after all they are peace officers in the city. That is true however only 30 out of 300 live in the city. They pay no taxes in the city yet take over 70% of the city’s budget into other communities plus support their legal counsel, the city attorney, pet projects, to protect their salaries. This is why they are funding the campaign against Measure C.

So now is the time for all good voting citizens to come to the aid of their state and city and vote to defeat outside influences that would take away from the quality of your life. These outside police officers expect you to pay for their good way of living while you and your family suffer. Don’t fall for their rhetoric and vote YES on Measure C.
