Only in San Bernardino would the leaders cut off their nose to spite their face. They could use the revenue from car sales and the demographics of the city fits the used car financial status population. If the city moves to let them operate it would generate revenue for the city, it would put life into property that is seen from the 215 freeway, it would eliminate boarded up vacant building with broken windows, it would generate jobs and other benefits to the Inland Empire. Now there comes a time when leaders have to and should play politics when making decision but this is not one of them. The city is sinking from bad politics and therefore a decision to allow the business of used cars to be sold should be made by the mayor and council.
