... said, I will not forget the wound to our country and those who inflicted it. I will not yield, I will not rest, I will not relent in waging this struggle for freedom and security for the American people.
It was clear then to us and the world that the perpetrators of these acts were reported to be Osama bin Laden and his Taliban supported band of cell operated terrorists. So we decided to place a bounty on his head and put the world on notice that you are either with us or against us. We told the Afghanistan leaders to hand him over or be inundated with our bombs and soldiers. They did not hand him over so we initiated our threat by bombing and sending in the troops.
Everything was going along just fine and then Bush decided to go to war with Iraq. I can imagine a conversation Bush had with Colin Powell that went something like this: Mr. President let us make sure we get the world community with us if you decide to do this. Bush said: Dont worry be happy. Saddam has weapons of mass destruction plus he has used them on his people before according to Donald Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney. They should know because they supported Saddam during that time. I was having a problem with the juice during that period so I dont have personal knowledge. Plus, Colin the war will be over in a short time and I will become a hero to the people.
More soldiers and civilians have died in Iraq after Bush declared a victory in Iraq than before. The Taliban army has increased its volunteer members and the United States might have to enact the draft and has already forced soldiers to stay in the service. Some of the members of the coalition forces have withdrawn their support. The 911 Commission has concluded in their report that Iraq had no connection with the September 11, 2001 airplane incidents and no weapons of mass destruction have been found.
Now President Bush has kept part of his promise and that is that he will not let us forget the wound, but he has taken his eye off of the one who inflicted the wound and that is bin Laden. We had two political conventions this past summer and bin Ladens name was mentioned at the most two times. Our borders are still open to any one who wishes to cross according to a report by Lou Dobbs. Our jobs are still being sent overseas to other countries. We still have immigrants in our country whose passports are outdated.
We still have 96% of all freight coming into the country without being checked for safety. The Afghans are still growing poppy and selling it to and in the free world. And all we get now are promises of what is to come from the current administration and silence from the Democrats. Ralph Nader cant win so what are the real citizens to do come November? Stay tuned our recommendations are being worked on as you read.
