Bad Thinking of Jugglers

Flawed thinking has nothing to do with intellectual capabilities, as evidenced by most Black American Chronic Jugglers being smart people. However, foundational to all Chronic Jugglers is inappropriate thinking habits--things like inadequate Rational Thinking skills but primarily the engagement in Emotional Thinking (e.g. "This is the best thing to do because I feel it is right"). Keep in mind that emotions lack conscience and no reason. Emotional Thinking works like a rotating ferris wheel: at the top it gives good results and as it starts rotating the results get worse and worse, being worse when half way around. Then as it continues to rotate back towards the top, the results get less and less bad. Emotional Thinkers focus only the times they were right (recall "that a stopped clock is only right twice a day") and otherwise make it a practice to overlook the vast majority of the times they are wrong or not quite right.  The driving attitude behind trying to make sure they are always right is: "I'm not good enough and I don't want anyone to know that and so I'll hide it from them." A common next step is for them to switch their less than desirable results by manipulating words and conditions within the situation until they turn it into appearing to be right. This necessarily means it is always the other person who is wrong because they are too insecure and mentally weak to take responsibility for their mistakes.

The point is that there is only a limited time when the results are good but there is no way of knowing when that will be. A healthy way to overcome this pattern of thinking is to be aware of the flaw; face it squarely; extract the lesson from it; make improvements on how to carry out the lesson; immediately apply the improved version in some situation of life; and let go of the rest of whatever was flawed. That process works for any type of hurt feelings and the benefits are greatest when the correcting of ones flaw is accepted as a challenge rather than fearing being disliked if people only knew.

Emotional Thinking in Chronic Jugglers, as a result of their Omnibus Brain activities initiating an obsessive compulsive process, is characterized by having a "closed mind." In turn, this shuts down further thinking about what needs to be done and about details of what one is presently doing. Then, because good advice no longer matters, the obsessive compulsive process pushes them to do the opposite and that thereby ensures they stay in the status quo. A clue to this pattern is like when Titan explains why X should not ever be done, but they will do X within a few minutes and then every day thereafter. Another of Chronic Jugglers' features is letting someone else do their thinking (e.g. absorbing how White people define Colored People) and believing it to the point of following the crowd. Under these circumstances one only allows oneself to do periodic thinking and that is usually not done well because of a lack of practice in difficult situations. Much of this is attributable to being a lazy thinker from never have developed the habit of thinking about the best way to do something nor considering the consequences of what is done in every little thing one does. For this reason there is tremendous inconsistency in using Emotional Thinking and that is not good enough when dealing with serious business--the type that causes juggling. Other reasons for inconsistent thinking include flawed reasoning and/or incomplete reasoning from lack of practice or from the lack of preparation. Both lead one to become "overwhelmed" and easily "give up" trying. Both reasons branch into patterns that affect every aspect of ones life. Self-correction for inconsistent thought is to give close attention to the details of the numerous occurrences of small things one does every day. From that is fashioned a routine of Consistency (meaning all supporting reasons, evidence, and practices working together without contradicting each other) and Persistence (i.e. enduring in the face of opposition). Both, when properly applied, are at the base of anything designed for overcoming chronic juggling.
