While reading my Inspirational Study Bible I found this. I hope you will receive it as special as I did: “Eternal Life” We know that someday our heavenly Father is going to take all those who follow Him into eternal happiness. It’s to that day that we look. It’s upon our hope and confidence that he will return that we stand. Our prayer should be that our Father will help us make decisions that will set us on the course of eternal life. Listen to Christ rather than to the voices of men. Jesus says you can’t please men and still be a servant of God. Those who listen and follow Christ will be received into heaven by the pierced hands of the one who knows the freedom of giving up what you cannot own in order to receive what no one can take from you - eternal life.

I pray that you celebrated a wonderful Valentine’s with your best friend and all is well on the homefront. It is nothing like having a wonderful time with your best friend. For me I have great memories I shared with my best friend. This year it will be thirteen years that my best friend, Frank W. Barnes Jr. went to be with the Lord, but I celebrate the wonderful memories. To the gardeners here are some quick and easy garden tips that I have learned. (1) Plant caraway here and there to loosen the soil, (2) Don’t plant fennel in the garden as most plants hate it. (3) When planting beans, celery, or parsley, soak the seeds overnight in water to improve germination. When planting beets, swiss chard or peas soak the seeds about 20 minutes before planting to improve germination. Avoid overcrowding when planting beets. If you plan to harvest only the tops, plant them 2’ apart. If you plan to harvest the roots, you need 3-4’ between plants. Sprinkle borox on the ground next to your beet plants to provide boron. Plant morning glories in your garden to stimulate your melon seeds growth. Peas are good plants to have in your garden because they feed the soil. Let us this year have a bountiful harvest.

To my church family and my friends, I’m so grateful for all your love and care for my family and I. You are the best. I hope and pray that I do not leave anyone out because I truly have so much love for you all. Regina was such a wonderful daughter and I will truly miss my beautiful baby girl. I know that God does everything in order and I know He was waiting for her arrival and that it was a joyful time at the meeting. We always had our girlie times. I truly thank God for all of them.

Remember to love and never forget to show it.

BE BLESSED!
J.B.
