I was studying in one of my Bibles and I want to share with you what touched me, because we as women are nurturers. The topic is “Get It Neutered,” (Matthew 14:24-30). When I see women who are hurting. I often ask them. “Don’t you ever wonder where all your pain comes from?” I also think of the parable in Mathew 13:24-30. These women don’t seem to realize that Satan sowed his tears into their good fields and used their nurturing instincts against them. Some of you have had wasted years of productivity trying to recapture and revive something that wasn’t worth the effort. You should have cut the cord years ago. You can actually nurture something that sucks the life out of you. No matter how it wears you down, you keep pouring more of yourself into it. You end up nurturing something that needs to be neutered--- a bad relationship, an unhealthy lifestyle, or any other negative situation. With these powerful words from the Cross, Jesus died to the things that were tormenting Him. The nails were still there, as was the Cross, but their power over Him was destroyed. He had moved into another realm. So should you my friend. When life seems unfair and uncertain, do not be delayed by nurturing things that should be neutered. Keep moving on. And remember it is “better day.”
