Oswald Chambers wrote “Liberty On The Abyss Of The Gospel.” A spiritually minded man will never come to you with the demand --- “Believe this and that”; but with the demand that you square your life with the standards of Jesus. We are not asked to believe the Bible, but to believe the One whom the Bible reveals (John 5:39-40). We are called to present liberty of Christ and others will be brought into that same liberty -- the liberty of realizing the dominance of Jesus Christ. Always keep your life measured by standards of Jesus. Bow your neck to His yoke alone. Morton, Sr. This year’s theme was Celebrating Legacy Pursuing Destiny. This was sent to me and I love sharing them with you to encourage you in such times when you need a lift. “THE BLESSING I RECEIVED:” I have never spoken with God In person, face-to-face, yet deep within my heart I know I was saved by His loving grace. I speak with Him through prayer. And can feel His presence near. I know that He is with me. When my gloomy days are here. I long for Him to hold me. In His loving arms one day, but until then I’ll be content. To whisper, “I love you,” as I pray. What a glad and joyous day it was. When in Him I first believed. How can I ever thank Him, for the blessings I’ve received? God has done so many wonderful things. But the ones I treasure the most. Are the gifts of love that He gave to us—His Son, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost. If you were down you cannot stay down after reading this. Let us remember to “LOVE” one another and pray for each other, we are “FAMILY.”
