“THE SPONTANEITY OF LOVE” -- Love is not premeditated, it is spontaneous, i.e., it bursts up in extraordinary ways. There is nothing of mathematical certainty in Paul’s category of love. The springs of love are in God, not in us. It is absurd to look for the love of God in our hearts naturally. It is only there when it has been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. If we try to prove to God how much we love Him, it is a sure sign that we do not love Him. The evidence of our love for Him is the absolute spontaneity nature of our love. It comes naturally. In looking back we cannot tell why we did certain things, we did them according to the spontaneous nature of His love in us. The life of God manifests itself in this spontaneous way because the springs of love are in the Holy Ghost (Romans 5:5). Read your Bible Prayerfully.

I read this written by Apostle Gina Prince and it really spoke to me, “I WANT TO LOVE.” I have often wondered what happened to us in the household of faith. We know that the word says that, “God is love.” What has happened? Apostle Prince wrote, many people want to love. We were created to love. Our Father is love (1 John 4:8). The problem is we may not know how to love. I thought what do we know of love is on our terms or when we feel like loving. No love is unconditional. For me unconditional means no matter what I am going to love you. But I do not have to except your behavior. What is our motive for love? What I feel my motive for loving anyone is that this is what God has commanded me to do. Is this easy? No, not always, but the closer I get to God and to know who He is, studying His word and how he has and still loves me in spite of myself. It is a must that I love you. God’s word teaches me to love unconditional. Sometimes our love can be misguided. And for me that can come from not reading His word and understanding what he is saying for us to do. We are still human and we can get misplaced. If we want to know how to love in truth, God will show you how. As I have said we must study His word and stay focused. More next week, because we must get this love for one another right, it is 2012 my sisters and brothers.
Don’t forget to start planning your garden. This year, let’s have fun and live healthy.
