This is the fifth part of “Secret to his Breakthrough.” Jehoshaphat knew from personal experience what happens when leaders worship and praise God. He Knew if they were to be successful in battle it would be because of their worship so he appointed those who should sing to the Lord, and who should praise God in the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying: “Praise the Lord, for His mercy endures forever.” I believe because King Jehoshaphat believed in prayer and was a worshipper, the miracle that the Lord did for him was all because he was a worshipper and he lead those he was called to serve to worship the Lord even while going into battle. As they went out before the army, the singers and worshippers led the army into this battle. It was the singers and the worshippers that led the army. It was also clear that they began saying, “Praise the Lord, for His mercy endures forever,” over and over again. They trusted and relied on the awesome power and mercy of God.
