Pastor Greg Laurie wrote about: “Hope From A Family Tree.” The genealogy of Jesus in Matthew 1:1 and Luke 3:1 teaches us there is hope for the future and the future of our families. Most of us probably don’t have any murderers or prostitutes in our family tree like Jesus did but we may have some adulterous, liars, and cheats. Yet God can intervene. What state is your family right now? Men are you being the spiritual leader in your family that God has called you to be? God has called you to be a leader to your wife, to love her as Christ loves the church (see Ephesians 5:25). He has called you to be a representative of Him to your children a model for them to look to. Parents are you setting an example for your children to follow? It is so tragic when we see the bad behavior that parents practice at being practical by their children – and even by grandchildren. But God can intervene and change things.

This is for the fathers: You are very important to me and the rest of us “Girls” because you are the first “MAN” in our lives. And how important it is for us to learn how to live with our partners, (husbands).
“When Things Go Wrong, Don’t Quit!” By Eva L. Perry: When things go wrong, as they sometimes will, when the road you’re trudging seems all uphill, when funds are low, and debts are high: and you want to smile but you have to sigh. When care is pressing you down a bit, rest if you must, but don’t you quit. Life is queer with its twists and turns, as every one of us, sometimes learn, and many a failure turnabouts, when he might have won had he stuck it out. Don’t give up, though the pace seems slow, you may succeed with another blow. Often the goal is much nearer than it seems to a faint and faltering man. Often the struggler has given up, when he might have captured the victor’s cup and learned too late, when the night slipped down; how close he was to the golden crown. (Author Unknown).
Fathers though things are not what you may want hang in there we will make you proud we are your children. And the most important thing to us is your “LOVE” for us. “HAPPY FATHERS DAY,” and may you have many more with us.
There will be more on gardening next week regarding what flowers love what vegetables, also herbs to plant. And let each one of us teach one how to have a wonderful relationship with our family and all mankind.
Do not let the little thing sit on your shoulder and speak ill of no one.
