Robin Ware is in the flow of things, when she wrote this: It’s important that we pay close attention to timing of events that occur in our lives. We shouldn’t allow time to flow by or to let things just happen. For those with a destination in mind, you have to understand the value of providential moments. We serve a God with a purpose. He uses providential moments to effect and/or change our current paths, permanently if we are obedient. As we have come to the close of 2010 it was some trying times, economic challenges and multiple job losses it’s imperative that we draw even closer to God. We must spend more time with Him in order to get to know Him so that we may “finish well.” Read your “Bible” He has a lot to tell us.

Last week I wrote about the wonderful anniversary celebration, for Reverend James and Lady Louise Hardy hosted by their four children: Carmen Roberts (Dell), Gregory Hardy, Adrienne Hardy and Keenan Hardy (Tammie).

Last week I read an inspiring story about Tyler Perry. He is offering to rebuild the home of an 88-year-old great grandmother who lost all her belongings in a fire. This was her home for 40 years. She and her four year old great granddaughter escaped the fire. Mr. Perry also pledged to rent her a house for one year, pay for her utilities and buy furniture and build her a new home. I said all of that for this, “To whom much is given much is required.”

Mr. Perry is a giver. We may not be able to give what someone else can give but we do our best and it is wonderful to be able to help wherever.

In the month of December I was nominated as Citizen of The Year for the City Of Moreno Valley.

The Installation and Award Ceremony will be held on January 15, 2011. The theme is “A NIGHT AT THE OSCARS” and the event will be held at the Moreno Valley Conference Center, 1475 Frederick Street, Moreno Valley, at 6:00 p.m. and dinner at 7:00 p.m. This event is hosted by the Moreno Valley Chamber of Commerce. For information contact the chamber at (951) 697–4404.

To God be the glory for the things he has done. Rose Ann Parker and Sara Jessimy Kruzan were given pardons because God does all things well. He is an on time God.

What a powerful year we have ahead of us, but yet we will have warfare. Just stay focused on what God has for you in this time. Let us move forward, be strong and courageous, and do not let discouragement stop off at your home.
