HELLO MORENO VALLEY

Bishop E. Earl Jenkins wrote about: “THE CHRIST IN YOU.” The virgin birth is more than just another Christmas story; it illustrates just how close God wants to get to you. In fact, He’s asking you the same question He asked Mary. “Are you willing to let me move in.” Throughout scripture it’s always been his desire to get close to His people. Jesus told the disciples, I am in you (John 14: 20 NCV ). Paul prayed, “that Christ may dwell in your Hearts.” (Ephesians 3:17 NIV). John says “those who obey… Live in Him, and He in them. It is four more days to 2011 let us study more.

This past week I had the privilege and pleasure to attend the 60th wedding anniversary of Rev. James and Lady Louise Hardy. It was a surprise and boy were they in shock. This celebration was given by their children and it was a very classy act. Rev. James and Lady Louise looked great and enjoyed all the festivities.

Rozalyn Winder and Tammie Hardy did an awesome job with the decorations. It looked as though we were in a Winter Wonderland. The anniversary cake was revamped to look like their wedding cake sixty years ago. The only thing I can say is “WOW.”

While reading the newspaper on Thursday, I read about VANISHING VOWS. I have been told that a marriage is just a piece of paper but what an awesome thing to do, marry that one special person in your life that you love very much and they love you back (your best friend).

It is still great to be married. It says a man that finds a wife finds a good thing. There is so much more to marriage than just a piece of paper. Even the Christian kingdom the vows have really gone out the window.

Let us go back and remember that God loves marriage, those of us that have mates or want a mate ask God give us a mind change in the art of what it means to have another person close in our lives. In the year of 2011, let us pray that family’s (husbands & wives) become friends and lovers. And do not let VOWS VANISH.

May you all have a Very Happy and Blessed New Year. I’ll see you next year.

BE BLESSED
J.B.
