Oswald Chambers, wrote: “Pull Yourself Together.” I cannot save and sanctify myself; I cannot atone for sin; I cannot redeem the world; I cannot right what is wrong; pure what is impure, holy what is unholy. That is all the sovereign work of God. Have I faith in what Jesus Christ has done? He has made a perfect Atonement, am I in the habit of constantly realizing it? The great need is not to do things, but to believe things. The Redemption of Christ is not an experience, it is the great act of God which He has performed through Christ, and I have to build my faith upon it. If I construct my faith on my experience, I produce that most unscriptural type, an isolated life, my eyes fixed on my own whiteness. Beware of the piety that has no presupposition in the Atonement of the Lord. It is of no use for anything but a sequestered life; it is useless to God and a nuisance to man. Measure every type of experience by our Lord Himself. We cannot do anything pleasing to God unless we deliberately build on presupposition of the Atonement. Alway s read your “Bible” prayerfully.
HELLO MORENO VALLEY
Moreno Valley and The Inland Empire, The “Mountain View Community Church” and family members celebrated the life of “Loretta Ann Worthey” of Temecula, Ca. Loretta was the daughter of the late Rev. and Sis. Albert Lee Wheat. Rev. Wheat was a well known Pastor here in the Inland Empire. Let us always remember families in sorrow.
While reading Mr. Brown’s editorial last week, I totally understood what he was saying, things seem to change but yet they remain the same. The Smell of Strange Fruit pops it’s evil head.
And another saying that is used “Something In The Milk isn’t Clean.” It is not a good thing to misuse God’s “Anointed Ones.” This is a time that we as citizens we must read and study before we vote, it is so much familiar smell of strange fruit all over the country.
This is the finish of “Everyone Can’t be in Your Front Row.” The more you seek God and things of God, the more you seek quality, the more you seek not just the hand of God but the face of God, The more you seek things honorable, the more you seek growth, peace of mind, love and truth around you, the easier it will become for you to decide who gets to sit in the front row and who should be moved to the balcony of your life. Everyone can’t be in your front row. You cannot change the people around you… But you can change the People you are around! Ask God for wisdom and discernment and choose wisely the people who sit in the front row of your life. Remember the front row seat are for special and deserving people and those who sit in your front row should be chosen carefully. Everyone can’t be in your front row. Remember to love, empower yourself with God, and live your best life.
Let us support one another in all that we do to educate our children and grandchildren and our community.
