Oswald Chambers once said: “Have You Ever Been Alone With God?” His Solitude with Us. When God gets us alone by affliction, heartbreak, or temptation, by disappointment, sickness, or by thwarted affection, by a broken friendship, or by new friendship--- when He gets us absolutely alone, and we are dumfounded, and cannot ask one question, then He begins to expound. Watch Jesus Christ’s training of the twelve. It was the disciples, not the crowd outside, who were perplexed. They constantly asked Him questions, and He constantly expounded things to them; but they only understood after they had receiv ed the Holy Spirit read John 14:26. Read your bible prayerfully.

HELLO MORENO VALLEY

Moreno Valley for the past two weeks, we have had to say so long to some of our longtime residents. On August 6, 2010 we lost Mrs. Sarah Ann McCoy whom we lovingly called Sadie. Sadie was born in Liverpool, England, married Charles McCoy and moved to America. Sadie was also called Nana by her six grandchildren. She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter Debbie and son Tyrone, one daughter-in-law Marie and a host of family and friends. Remember this family.

This past Saturday August 14th 2010 the Cathedral of Praise International Ministries celebrated the life of our beloved brother Elder Rodney Aquilla Bowen, Sr. Elder was a man after God’s heart and he wore the name well. Elder Bowen always gave the word back at you and who can not hear or use the word whether you want to or not. Elder Bowen was born in Blythe, California and raised in Compton, California where he met his lovely wife in junior high school, who became the love of his life. After graduation, he married Carnergie Wallace who is affectionately called “Connie” and from that marriage God blessed them with five boys and 17 grandchildren. This is just a very small story about whom so many people call “Deck”. This couple led such a wonderful life together. And I’m sure Connie will carry the staff, because Deck wore many hats. He was very faithful for 15 years at COPIM and he was my brother in Christ Remember the Family.
