This Succulent Soil written by Eve Perry…. “Come now and let us stop and think about this rich earth from which we drink. Rich red life from the roots of beets. Flowing juice from cane so sweet. When we hav e a need for something bitter. We chew the roots of a sasparilla. Horseradish crushed is good for your head. It seems to upset those sinus beds. All the fruit have juices for you, filled with v itamins and minerals too. Water from this terrestrial ball. The best thirst quencher among them all. The earth is one round succulent gland. Issuing to people the milk of the land. Take off your hat, and bow your head. Stare at the ground of which you've been fed. Thank God for letting us up as we toil, drinking juices from this succulent soil. Praise Him for food and medicine too. Planted there especially for me and you.
