A friend sent this to me many years ago written by Eva L. Perry: “THE HEART OF A FRIEND.” Oh, the heart of a friend is a marvelous place. Where one finds contentment and peace. Where the grasp of the hand shows that you understand. As the blessings of friendship increase. For the heart of a friend neither wonders nor doubts, no matter if years intervene. The old faith is there and none can compare with the comfort it gives the unseen. Oh, the heart of a friend is a place sweet and rare to love, to enrich, to enjoy. Respond, if you will, to its charm and its thrill, while forgetting the cares that can annoy. Yes the heart of a friend is the one thing prized. As life lengthens and twilight descends. The last thing I ask as I finish my task. Is to live in the heart of my friend. And to this day that friend lives in my heart. Read your Bible prayerfully and think .

While out walking your local neighborhoods, parks or communities, please be aware of “loose dogs” they seem to be causing some concern. When you have passengers please ask that they have seat belts on. This is the lonely time of the year for some people. Give a smile show love wherever you go, and remember the reason for the season.

BE BLESSED
J.B.
