Moreno Valley the Senior Center and Inland Valley Health Plan will host three classes on the dynamics of diabetes and how to manage this disease. The classes are free and will be held at the Moreno Valley Senior Center located at 25075 Fir Ave. The classes are only one hour starting September 23, 2009, September 30, 2009 and October 7, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. To reserve a place in the program, please call Inland Valley Health Plan 1-800-251-8191 ext. 625 or 951-413-3430. Moreno Valley the water feature at Celebration Park, located at 14965 Morgan Ave. has become so poplutar that the City finds it necessary to have a staff person on-site to monitor the activity and assure the water feature is operating at peak performance. Due to budget constraints, it will only be possible to staff the water feature on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. On October 1, 2009, there will be winter closures of the water feature. Winter closures will run from October 1, 2009 to March 31, 2010. For more information contact Parks Maintenance Division at 951- 413-3702.

The Moreno Valley Black Chamber of Commerce one year celebration at their new address was a great success. All the stores in the mall participated in the celebration.
